Bryan Hunter is DHS Teacher of the Year

Bryan Hunter is DHS Teacher of the Year 2018. He teaches math and coaches swim & dive and golf.

Bryan Hunter has been named 2018 Teacher of the Year at Daphne High School. He has taught at DHS for 23 years, in those years teaching: 

  • Algebra I
  • Geometry
  • Math in Society
  • Algebra III
  • Precalculus
  • AP Calculus
  • Junior/Senior International Baccalaureate
  • Standard Level Math

He is currently coaching the swim & dive team and the men’s golf team. In the past Coach Hunter has coached:

  • Football (4 years)
  • Girls Basketball (15 Years)
  • Girls Golf (4 years)
  • Swim & Dive Team (7 years)
  • Baseball ( 11 1/2 years)
  • Boys golf (2 years)

Coach Hunter has grown the Swim & Dive program by 80% and brought home state championships all while building one of the most highly recognized programs in the state. As a teacher, Coach Hunter excels at being able to teach all levels of students.
