Key Club hosts their annual Haunted House this weekend, in Trojan Hall from 7pm to 11pm, admission is 5 dollars. The proceeds go to the Women and Children Hospital as well as other sponsors and to the annual Key Club State convention. Last year Key Club grossed 3,000 dollars, and about 600 haunted house participants left with spooky memories.

“Last year the band got out of competition late so we stayed open later and I watched the band go through, it was really funny to see them get scared,” Sarah Sharif a Key Club member said

Key Club sponsor Mrs. Dabney said that they have been preparing for this event for since the beginning of september, Members meet every wednesday to brainstorm and finalize ideas.

“It takes us about two days to set it up but a lot of brainstorm before that and finalizing.” Dabney said.

Key Clubs haunted house has a variety of spooky themes every year such as: American Horror Story, Haunted Asylum, Haunted Hospital and this years theme being Scary Movies.

“I would like to ask everyone to please come out and support Key Club as this is our big fundraiser each year.  If you get scared easily please come and ask for me to go through with you as I love to see how scared people get when they go through” Dabney said.
