Daphne’s  JV volleyball team played Spanish Fort’s JV volleyball team for the first time this season. Although Daphne lost to Spanish Fort on Wednesday, the fans were still very encouraging.

“I think all the players have improved greatly. The crowd was very supportive and energetic,” Travis Rotolo said.

Daphne’s JV volleyball team also showed a bit of optimism towards their loss to Spanish Fort.

“We look over the areas where we need to see improvement in, but we also remember the areas where we are strong as a team,”  Jordan Sampson, a Daphne High School sophomore, and a member of Daphne’s JV volleyball team, said.

Daphne’s JV volleyball team seems to have some pretty loyal fans. Daphne Junior, Emalyn Danielle, shows her enthusiasm. “I love going to the games, because I also enjoy playing volleyball myself,” Danielle said.

Next meet, Daphne’s JV volleyball team will play Murphy High school in Mobile, Tuesday, September 26th at 4:00.
